SVB Tennis

Written byWill Pei Yuan

SVB Tennis Academy & Wellness Center in Zephyrhills, Florida runs 11 tennis courts, 8 pickleball courts and 5 padel courts alongside a boarding academy and wellness center, all under one site. It carries the story of Sarah Vande Berg, whose 2015 death is the reason the academy exists, next to a full membership system — six sports, resident and non-resident pricing, and a named staff contact for every program.

The problem

One tennis center that is really several businesses: memberships across six sports, a boarding academy with its own academics and housing, a wellness side, and the memory of the player it is named for. The site has to carry all of it — prices, programs and the right person to call for each — and still tell Sarah Vande Berg’s story in a way that belongs next to the membership pricing.

What I built

The home page leads with a stat block — 11 tennis courts, 8 pickleball courts, 5 padel courts, 350+ members — then splits into the academy pitch and the membership pitch, with a Google review as the only social proof on the page. The about page carries the reason the place exists: Sarah Vande Berg, a Zephyrhills High School tennis captain killed in a 2015 car accident alongside three USC Upstate teammates, and a short bio for each of the two owners, Pascal Collard and Andrew Sorrentino.

Every sport — tennis, pickleball, padel, fitness, beach tennis/volleyball — gets its own page under the same pattern: a monthly individual and family membership price, a resident discount for Zephyrhills locals, a $149 initiation fee, and a named director with a direct phone number and email. The academy side is separate again, with its own pages for the tennis program, academics, housing and summer camps, describing a UTR-gated, five-day boarding program.
